| Christopher Bauer Finn & Porter Restaurant is the showcase for the innovative culinary talents of Executive Chef Christopher Bauer. Chef Bauer has 17 years of experience in the culinary arts. His specialties are seafood, shellfish, and steaks served with contemporary American and world influences, using French techniques. Chef Bauer is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York where he was named one of the top 10 students of the year by CIA and Food and Wine magazine. His career has taken him through New York, South Carolina, and New Orleans. He has worked at the four-star Brennan's in Houston and also was chef de cuisine for the four-star Hill Country Dining Room at Barton Creek Resort.
